How the URL QR code works
The QR code encodes the full web address (with https://). When scanned with a phone camera, it automatically opens that page in the browser.
If you don't type 'http://' or 'https://', the tool adds 'https://' automatically before generating the code.
Worked example
If you enter 'mysite.com/deals', the generated QR code opens 'https://mysite.com/deals' when scanned.

- Do I need to type 'https://'?
- No, if you leave it out the tool adds it automatically so the link works.
- Does the QR code expire?
- No. It's a static image that always encodes the same URL; it keeps working as long as that page exists.
- Can I use it in printed materials?
- Yes. Download the SVG version to print it at any size without losing quality.
