How splitting PDF works
You choose after which page to cut the document. The tool generates a first PDF with the pages up to that point and a second PDF with the rest.
The process runs in your browser, so the original file is never uploaded to a server.
Worked example
If your PDF has 10 pages and you split after page 4, you get 'parte-1.pdf' with pages 1-4 and 'parte-2.pdf' with pages 5-10.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I split a PDF into more than two parts?
- This tool makes one cut at a time, producing two files. For more parts, you can split one of the results again.
- What if the PDF only has one page?
- A single-page PDF cannot be split; you need at least two pages.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No, splitting happens entirely in your browser.
