How the location QR code works
If you enter two numbers separated by a comma (latitude, longitude), the QR encodes exactly those coordinates.
If you enter an address or a place name, the QR opens a search for that text in the phone's maps app.
Widely used on wedding or event invitations to point to the exact venue without guests having to search for it manually, on real estate listings to show where a property for sale is located, or in delivery instructions so a courier can find an unusual address (an industrial unit, a second home) with coordinate-level precision.
Worked example
Entering '40.4168, -3.7038' makes the QR open that exact location on the map (Puerta del Sol, Madrid). On a wedding invitation, you might instead use 'El Rosario Estate, Toledo' if you'd rather the QR search for the place name than use coordinates.
