How the countdown timer works
Enter the minutes and seconds for the countdown and press 'Start'. Remaining time is calculated from the system clock, so it won't drift even if you switch tabs.
When it reaches zero, the tool plays a sound alert and shows the time in a different color so it doesn't go unnoticed.
Worked example
If you set 3 minutes 30 seconds and start the timer, the alert will sound exactly 210 seconds later.
