How Word to PDF works
The document's text and basic formatting (paragraphs, headings, bold, italics, lists, simple tables) are extracted and drawn into a new PDF, right in your browser.
This is a basic conversion: exact layout (columns, floating images, headers and footers, page numbering) is not preserved, and only the modern .docx format is supported, not the old .doc.

A 'report.docx' file with headings, paragraphs and a simple table becomes 'report.pdf', keeping the text and basic formatting, though without the original's exact layout.

- Does it work with old .doc files?
- No, only the modern .docx format (Word 2007 onward). If you have a .doc, save it as .docx from Word first.
- Is the exact document design preserved?
- Not fully. Text, headings, lists and simple tables are kept, but not columns, floating images or headers/footers.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No, conversion happens entirely in your browser.
