How PDF to PowerPoint works
Each PDF page is rendered as a high-resolution image and placed centered on a widescreen (16:9) PowerPoint slide.
Each slide's content is an image, not text or editable elements: the original page's visual appearance is preserved faithfully, but the text can't be edited inside PowerPoint.
It's useful for embedding PDF pages (a report, a catalog, previously exported slides) into a larger presentation without losing the exact layout, or for adding PowerPoint annotations and transitions on top of content that was originally a static PDF.
Worked example
A 4-page PDF produces a 'document.pptx' presentation with 4 slides, each showing the image of its matching page. A magazine-style PDF full of images and colors will produce heavier slides than a text-only PDF.
